We are delighted to announce two new signings as we prepare for our Welsh Open title defence in Porthcawl later this month.
Alex Salter joins on solo baritone following an enjoyable stint at Pontardulais, whilst Ryan Huxtable augments the bass section after commencing his studies at Cardiff University.
In addition to our usual concert and contest schedule the band has lots to look forward to this year including a CD recording and a world premiere commenting aviatrix Amelia Earhart’s solo transatlantic flight.
The brass band premiere of ‘Stillness’ from the pen of Tom Davoren will follow a string of international premieres given by the University of Saskatchewan Wind Orchestra, University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, Central Band of the RAF and the Montclair State University Wind Symphony.
