Blast Off into Brass sessions run on a Thursday evening from 6:45pm to 7:25pm during term-time.
Ceri John is an accomplished brass musician and dedicated teacher with a wealth of experience performing at the highest level. He has played with the world-renowned Black Dyke Band, one of the most successful and respected brass bands in the world, giving him first-hand experience of elite performance standards and musical excellence.
Alongside his performing career, Ceri is a passionate educator who works with brass players of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners taking their first notes, through to more advanced musicians developing their technique and musicality. He is known for his encouraging teaching style and his ability to make learning both enjoyable and rewarding.
From Burry Port, and having grown-up in the Burry Port Town Band, Ceri is committed to supporting the next generation of brass players. Through Blast Off into Brass, he is excited to help young people take their next steps into music, building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of playing.
