The Band are busy enjoying the festival season by playing Christmas Carols around Burry Port, Pembrey and Llanelli. Hopefully we will get to your area very soon if we’ve not already visited. The funds raised at this time are a significant help to the running of the band, particularly for ensuring the future of Blast Off into Brass, the Beginners Group.
With the number of youngsters now enjoying Blast Off into Brass, the band are very keen to ensure that we have instruments for them to begin their musical journeys. Brass Instruments have been found in attics, if you are getting your Christmas decorations down, the band are holding an instrument amnesty, so if you happen to find a Burry Port Town Band instrument in the attic this Christmas, please let us know!
